Post-Construction Cleaning

Overview

Construction dust keeps settling for weeks after the crew leaves. It sits on ledges, inside vents and in the fibers of new carpet, and it will keep reappearing until someone removes it properly. Clear Facility Services handles post-construction cleaning for new builds, renovations and tenant build-outs across the Twin Cities.

What's Included

  • Debris and packaging removal

  • Dust removal from ceilings, ledges, vents, fixtures and duct covers

  • Adhesive, paint, grout haze and sticker residue taken off glass and fixtures

  • Interior and exterior window cleaning, including tracks and frames

  • Floor treatment matched to the material: sealing, waxing, polishing or extraction

  • Restroom and kitchen fixture detail

  • Final wipe-down before handover

How the Phases Work

  • Rough clean: debris cleared during construction so trades can keep working

  • Final clean: full dust removal, glass, fixtures and floors once the work stops

  • Touch-up clean: a last pass right before handover, after settled dust comes down

Why the First Floor Treatment Matters

New VCT that never gets sealed, or concrete that gets the wrong product on it, starts its wear cycle already behind. Getting the first treatment right is the cheapest floor work you will ever buy.
